    “…ABSTRACT Goal; This paper proposes the perception of the meaning of life and self-esteem of muay thai martial artist from the city of Veracruz.Method; the intentional sample consisted of 5 men and 1 woman, with an average age of 25.83 years.Results; By applying the semi-structured interview subjects say they find in the belief system that comes from the martial art, the way to aggrandize as human beings and filled with ethical and moral values.The psychometric tests like “the Logo test” where 4 subjects are existentially safe and 2 has psychic stability and Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory adult version, when it comes to the category "general self-esteem" 5 subjects are high self-esteem and 1 self-esteem medium high, promote accuracy of the answers in the interview. …”
