Evaluación del papel inmunomodulador de la resiniferatoxina durante la respuesta inmune primaria a nivel intestinal de un modelo murino infectado con Trichinella spiralis. por Muñoz Carrillo, José Luis

    Publicado 2017
“…In the search for novel pharmacological strategies that inhibit the Th1 immune response (proinflammatory) and assist the host against infection, recent studies showed that resiniferatoxin (RTX) had anti-inflammatory activity, which decreased the production of tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, prostaglandin (PG)-E2 and nitric oxide (NO), as well as the number of eosinophils in the blood, associated with decreased intestinal pathology and parasite muscle burden. Based on these results, the objective of this research was to evaluate whether RTX modulates both Th1/Th2 immune responses, protecting the host against T. spiralis infection. …”

    Publicado 2017
“…ABSTRACT Introduction: obesity is a complex disease with a multifactorial origin; it has been described that the individual genetic component has a key role in the susceptibility to this pathology. The polymorphism Pro12Ala (rs1801282) of the PPAR2 gene it has been associated with obesity in different studies, however the results has been inconsistent with some populations. …”
