High strain rate characterization of thermoplastic fiber-reinforced composites under compressive loading por Ramírez Montes, Carolina, Reis, Vitor, Opelt, Carlos, Santiago, Rafael, Almeraya Calderón, Facundo, Donadon, Mauricio V, Gaona Tiburcio, Citlalli, Croche, René, Baltazar Zamora, Miguel Ángel

    Publicado 2019
“…High-speed imaging system was used to monitor failure process during dynamic test, and these images were used to measure strain by digital image correlation (DIC) in order to compare the DIC-based measurements performed with the SPHPB strain gauges and quasi-static results. Fractography analysis was also performed to identify the main failure mechanisms induced at different strain rates.…”

Fatiga de un acero AISI/SAE 5160 con temple interrumpido por Lozano de la Garza, Diego Emilio

    Publicado 2013
“…Fatigue results showed that the interrupted brine quenching with partial decarburisation has a higher fatigue limit that the case with no decarburisation and also that the case of conventional oil quenching and tempering. Fractography and load data from experiments allowed to model the cracking stages. …”

Caracterización experimental del efecto de la tasa de deformación en el comportamiento mecánico de un compuesto termoplástico por Ramírez Montes, Carolina

    Publicado 2017
“…High speed imaging system is used to monitor the failure process during the test and fractography analysis is performed. The data base of the properties generated can be taking account for the right design and simulation of new parts and the prediction for those that are already in use.…”

Estudio del comportamiento a fatiga a bajo ciclo de las aleaciones de aluminio hipoeutécticas por Aguilar Navarro, Jorge Alberto

    Publicado 2021
“…In such a way that, said alloys presented a kinematic to isotropic hardening model, that is, they presented a permanent softening, in the first hysteresis cycle, passing through a stable cyclic hardening, while close to fatigue fracture, they presented a cyclical softening. Through fractography, it was determined that the defects inherent to the casting process, such as, for example, porosity close to the surface and of greater size, dominated the nucleation phenomenon; fatigue striations were also observed, as well as damaged, cracked and detached particles. …”
