Camarones penaeidos y carideos como bioindicadores de contaminación y su relación con variaciones en la fisicoquímica de los sedimentos en Laguna Madre, Tamaulipas, México por Herrera Barquín, Hiram

    Publicado 2019
“…At population and community levels, we chose caridean and penaeid shrimp communities to assess environmental health through the calculation of diversity, biotic and condition indices, which, in general, exposed poor water quality, polluted and very polluted water, significant–severe biological condition of the ecosystem, and poor ecological status. Nevertheless, these results were influenced by natural induced variations in species abundance and richness given the observed low levels of sediment pollutants content. …”

Estimación del contenido de carbono total de especies arbóreas y arbustivas en áreas con diferente uso histórico, en una fracción del matorral espinoso tamaulipeco, Linares, N. L.... por Yerena Yamallel, José Israel

    Publicado 2008
“…Abstract Coefficients of total carbon content were generated for biomass unit base dry weight of 10 species and for each of their components (stem, branches, small branches, leaves and bark) of three areas with different historical use (Traditional Agriculture, Extensive Foraging and Matarasa) on Tamaulipan thornscrub, which will allow to estimate carbon stored in this type of ecosystem. The total carbon content expressed as a percentage of the biomass base dry weight, was determined with the Solids TOC Analyzer equipment, that analyzes the total carbon contents in solid samples by complete combustion. …”

Análisis de la nidalidad de infección de la leishmaniasis. Paradigmas eco-epidemiológicos a diferentes niveles espaciales y temporales. por Arque Chunga, Wilfredo

    Publicado 2018
“…It was concluded that there was no heterogeneity of the biotic and abiotic variables at spatial scales of 15 m, 62 m and 125 m in the study area; therefore no difference in Phlebotomine sand flies collection was found by spatial scale; however, in terms of diversity, the specific richness and abundance of Phlebotomine sand flies and rodents by spatial scale were different; therefore, the establishment of nests of leishmaniasis presents even more complex interrelations in its ecosystem, being necessary to deepen the knowledge of the other possible parameters that establish and/or maintain nests of leishmaniasis.…”

    Publicado 2008
“…Abstract The content of total carbon was analyzed (CT) by dry weight base biomass unit in the components of the aerial biomass of the representative species of the pineoak forest ecosystem, in the Sierra Madre Oriental. The components of the aerial biomass analyzed were stem, branches, bark and leaves of the species Pinus pseudostrobus, Juniperus flaccida, Quercus laceyi, Q. rysophylla, Q. canbyi and Arbutus xalapensis; also the content of total carbon through the stem of each specie was analyzed, as well as by groups of species (conifers and broadleaves) and in its components. …”

    Publicado 2012
“…Copepods are a common component of the ectoparasitic assemblages of all kinds of fish, from all environments and ecosystems (Boxshall & Halsey, 2004). The family Ergasilidae comprises the most common parasites of freshwater fish and the highest diversity is found in the genus Ergasilus Von Nordmann, 1832, with more than 180 nominal species (El-Rashidy & Boxshall, 2001; Montú & Boxshall, 2002; Boxshall & Halsey, 2004). …”
