    “…During this research, 150 ticks were collected, which belonged to the species Riphicephalus microplus, Amblyomma cajennense and Otobius megnini, have been collected from six livestock locations in the States of Nuevo Leon and Zacatecas. 293 bacterial strains were isolated, with the highest frequencies being Staphylococcus chromogenes, Bacillus cereus, Burkholderia cepacia, Cronobacter sakazakii y Serratia marcescens, 83.3% of the ticks sampled had at least one hemolytic strain, which may represent a possible role of the microbiota in the blood digestion of the arthropod. …”
