Ibero–American Consensus on Low- and No-Calorie Sweeteners: Safety, Nutritional Aspects and Benefits in Food and Beverages
Publicado 2018“…The conclusions of this Consensus were: (1) LNCS are some of the most extensively evaluated dietary constituents, and their safety has been reviewed and confirmed by regulatory bodies globally including the World Health Organisation, the US Food and Drug Administration and the European Food Safety Authority; (2) Consumer education, which is based on the most robust scientific evidence and regulatory processes, on the use of products containing LNCS should be strengthened in a comprehensive and objective way; (3) The use of LNCS in weight reduction programmes that involve replacing caloric sweeteners with LNCS in the context of structured diet plans may favour sustainable weight reduction. …”

Biología de la latencia en semillas de chile piquín Capsicum annuum var. glabriusculum (Dunal) Heiser & Pickersgill. El papel de las fitohormonas.
Publicado 2018“…The results we got through the use of 3 types of bioassays (germination, phytohormone content and cell cycle) show that it is at 9 months of storage when the seed performs better at germination, this result could be verified with the data gotten with the use of HPLC because it was at this age when we observed a higher amount of gibberellins, auxins and kinetine and the flow cytometer analysis showed that at 9 months of age the seed shows higher cell division, these results let us conclude that at 9 months of age the seed has reached physiological maturity, reflected on the high content of phytohormones that promote germinationand the process of cell división that is very active at this age, therefore we suggest that at 9 months of seed storage is the ideal age to cultivate the seed and get higher percentage of germination.…”
