Wordwide patterns of genetic differentiation imply multiple ‘domestications’of Aedes aegypti, a major vector of human diseases por Brown, Julia E., McBride, Carolyn S., Johnson, Petrina, Ritchie, Scott, Paupy, Christophe, Bossin, Herve, Lutomiah, Joel, Fernández Salas, Ildefonso, Ponlawat, A., Cornel, A. J., Black, William C., Gorrochótegui Escalante, Norma, Urdaneta Marquez, Ludmel, Sylla, M., Slotman, M., Murray, Kristy O., Walker, C., Powell, Jeffrey R.

    Publicado 2011
“…It is not clear whether all domestic populations are genetically related and represent a single ‘domestication’ event, or whether association with human habitats has developed multiple times independently within the species. To test the hypotheses above, we screened 24 worldwide population samples of Ae. aegypti at 12 polymorphic microsatellite loci. …”

Biomass and lipid induction strategies in microalgae for biofuel production and other applications por Alishah Aratboni, Hossein, Rafiei, Nahid, García Granados, Raúl, Alemzadeh, Abbas, Morones Ramírez, José Rubén

    Publicado 2019
“…There are different types of biofuels (categories and generations) that have been previously explored, but recently, the use of microalgae has been strongly considered for the production of biofuels since they present a series of advantages over other biofuel production sources: (a) they don’t need arable land to grow and therefore do not compete with food crops (like biofuels produced from corn, sugar cane and other plants) and; (b) they exhibit rapid biomass production containing high oil contents, at least 15 to 20 times higher than land based oleaginous crops. Hence, these unicellular photosynthetic microorganisms have received great attention from researches to use them in the large-scale production of biofuels. …”

Flexible jobshop scheduling problem with resource recovery constraints. por Vallikavungal Devassia, Jobish

    Publicado 2017
“…The computational results reveal the efficiency of our method, considering both the processing time and the completion time of the scheduling. Our algorithm requires less time to generate the production scheduling (few seconds) while the decision maker takes a full day to do it. …”
