Modelo de crecimiento de diámetro normal para Pinus durangensis en Durango, México. por Colín, José Guadalupe

    Publicado 2018
“…Due to of the spatial location of the trees, the effect of the competition was analyzed by 14 distance-independent and 11 distance-dependent competition indices, and 11 criteria for the selection of competing trees were also evaluated latter. The results showed that the independent distance indices presented slightly better results in the prediction of growth of normal diameter for Pinus durangensis, of which the two best indices of competition were used, ICi12 (derived from the radius between the basal area of the tree Objective and the basal area of the plot) and ICi6 (which represents the cup competition factor (CCF), to be analyzed in four base models. …”

Association between depressive symptoms and psychosocial factors and perception of maternal self-efficacy in teenage mothers por Lara, Ma Asunción, Patiño, Pamela, Navarrete, Laura, Hernández, Zaira, Nieto, Lourdes

    Publicado 2017
“…The teenage mother’s assessment of her maternal self-efficacy is associated with her performance, in other words, the way she relates and responds to the needs of her infant, which has major implications for the latter’s development. Objective. To study the association between personal (depressive symptoms, self-esteem) and environmental characteristics (social support, partner satisfaction) and those of the infant (problems with infant care, the infants’s temperament) and the perception of maternal self-efficacy (PME) in adolescent mothers. …”

Determinación de dosis infectiva vía oral de la cepa neolonesa de formas de Trypanosoma cruzi (Chagas, 1909) a nivel experimental en modelo murino por Delgado Garduño, Jorge Andrés

    Publicado 2020
“…The protozoan can infect humans through different types of transmission, such as vector, blood transfusion, congenital, and oral, the latter is the focus of the study as the consumption of contaminated food and beverages by the parasite can cause the disease in those who consume them. …”

INCREMENTO DE LA EXPRESIÓN DE TLR4 Y EFECTO ANTIOXIDANTE DEL ÁCIDO ACETILSALICÍLICO EN CONEJOS CON DIETA ALTA EN GRASAS por Ortíz-Reyes, Ana Elenka, Calderón-Torres, C. Marissa

    Publicado 2017
“…Results: In rabbits fed with excess of fat, significantly increased the levels of triglycerides (p<0.05), TLR4 expression, and reactive oxygen species, although in the latter, not significantly. The administration of acetylsalicylic acid in anti-inflammatory doses decreased the production of reactive oxygen species and the expression of TLR4. …”

OBESIDAD Y FACTORES DE RIESGO EN ESTUDIANTES DEL ÁREA DE LA SALUD DE LA UNIVERSIDAD AUTÓNOMA DE BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICALI por Ponce y Ponce de León, Gisela, Esparza Cisneros, Josefina Ruiz, Magaña Rosas, Anabel, Arizona Amador, Betzabé, Mayagoitia Witrón, José de Jesús

    Publicado 2011
“…Students in the health areas at the UABC (104 from nursing school, 120 from medical school and 112 from dentistry school) ranging from first to eight semesters were evaluated for BMI and a surrey was applied regarding frequency of food intake, eating habits, alcohol consumption, smoking and physical activity,  to know the relationship between the latter factors and obesity. Overweight prevalence was 21% and obesity 27.4% (males 36.1% and females 19.6%) with total of overweight and obesity of 48.4%. …”

Análisis de la localización de los filamentos MreB y la formación de flagelos en Escherichia coli, en presencia de carvacrol por Tamez Hernández, Alondra Miroslava

    Publicado 2020
“…The minimum carvacrol bactericidal concentration for the mutant was evaluated by finding significant differences (P < 0.05) between the wild strain against the double mutant, obtaining a higher CMB for the latter (0.43 ± 0.03 mg / ml). Likewise, the functionality of the flagellum was evaluated by swarming test, finding that subinhibitory concentrations of carvacrol promoted swarming movement in both the wild and mutant strains. …”
